Eren Keskin is a prominent human rights lawyer who has been repeatedly and frequently prosecuted and sometimes convicted under articles of the penal code unfairly limiting the right to freedom of expression. She is currently at risk of imprisonment following her latest conviction under Article 301 of the Penal Code “Denigrating the Turkish nation”.
